 About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager  to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Tauranga. This role is a fixed term contract to cover a mix of parental and sabbatical leave for 10 months, ideally starting in August 2022, through to end of May 2023. 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, and working closely with the Head of Advisory, this role is primarily responsible for implementing Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) marketing strategies including the development of advertising campaigns at a national and regional level.  This role will also take on responsibility for all branch related marketing activities – such as branch strategy, sponsorships, events and key internal and external communications.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or relevant business discipline and must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 6+ years’ current marketing experience
  • Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, techniques and tools in the areas of communications, business writing, branding, marketing and program management
  • Experience using digital platforms such as CRM, website CMS, digital communication tools and social media
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of communications and brand plans
  • Confidence to engage with and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders  
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects across multiple providers or teams to a deadline without compromising quality
  • Experience analysing performance of campaigns; identifying and delivering on areas of improvement
  • Experience creating and managing internal and client communication, using strong business writing skills and understanding of customer information needs.
  • Financial Markets background or interest is highly desirable
