About the role

A permanent opportunity has arisen within the Infrastructure team, based out of our Head Office in Tauranga. Offering full time hours, the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm. 

The key focus of this role is to support and administer the ICT services required by the business across all levels, manage third party Vendors to deliver best practice service to its customers and achieve the requirements of the ITS SLA with the Business.  ICT services encompass an infrastructure inclusive of Virtual and physical Desktops, Server, Application, Network and Telecommunications areas. The roles responsibilities include the implementation, configuration, control, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution of these infrastructure areas to ensure maximum availability of ICT services to the business users in alignment with the IT SLA with the business.

Skills and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary or equivalent professional IT Qualification and must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • 3 years+ Service Desk or ITS support experience
  • Technical expertise in the following areas: 
    • Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
    • Cloud services, e.g. Office365, MS365, Azure AD, SharePoint, Intune, Teams
    • Experience with Virtualisation platforms (VMware preferred)
    • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
    • Desktop and Laptop deployment & support using deployment tools (SCCM/Intune)
    • MS Exchange (2016, Online)
    • Experience and understanding of Windows OS on both servers and desktops
    • Active Directory and related IDAM concepts
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong procedure and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, staff, managers, partners and suppliers
