Service Desk Analyst

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst to join our Digital Business team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the key focus of the Service Desk team is to ensure that Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) employees have the correct systems and technology performance to meet the business’s needs. This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The Service Desk hours are between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday and this is covered by a number of different shifts that are shared amongst the team (e.g. 7am to 3.30pm, 8.30am to 5pm, and 9.30am to 6pm). 

The Service Desk Analyst is part of a dedicated team, delivering ICT services to 600+ users. The key focus of this role is to provide first level support for all Incidents and Service requests logged via the CIP Service Portal and on the phone within the defined Service Level Agreements for services. This role is crucial to ensuring customer requirements are met regarding communicating, prioritising, escalating, and resolving incidents and requests. 

First level support will cover a variety of things, including but not limited to, Laptop and PC’s, Citrix, Microsoft Windows 10 or above, Microsoft Office 365, Customer Relationship Management application (CRM), MS Teams and multiple bespoke business applications for financial institutions (training will be provided if required on these business applications). End user training and answering ‘How do I?’ queries from business users is also a key duty.

 About you

The ideal candidate will hold an IT qualification or relevant equivalent work experience and must be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Be customer focused and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have at least one-year experience in a Service Desk and ITS support
  • Technical Windows, O365, Teams, AD experience and a good general knowledge of IT 
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

We expect you will have a strong customer service and team focus, with good knowledge of IT systems, applications and functions.
