An opportunity has arisen for an Income Processing Administrator to join our Asset Services department working in our Head Office, Tauranga. This is a permanent position with full time hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am till 5.00pm.

The Asset Services function is a key role within CIP. It primarily serves the Custodial Services Ltd function in maintaining events associated with the asset pool it has under management and administer all Corporate Action events for CIP and its applicable subsidiaries as well as the setup, maintenance and pricing of securities. It also has responsibilities to the wider business in terms of being responsible for new asset applications and coordinating the bidding process for the same.

The primary function of this role is being responsible for dividend allocations and reconciliation of dividend accounts in all currencies. The role will also provide cover and support for other areas of the department during absences or busy periods. 

To be successful in this role you will have strong excel skills and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy with excellent attention to detail. You will also need to be well-organized in order to meet deadlines and be able to work well under pressure. Ideally, you’ll be a lateral thinker with a curious nature, not being scared to question status quo. A background in banking or a similar financial sector would be advantageous.
