Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) is a multi-award winning investment advisory firm which is one of the largest in New Zealand. With over 500 employees located at 19 offices throughout the country, CIP offers solutions and advice to both private investors, corporate and institutional clients.

We have a new opportunity for a skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in a permanent role. 

The role’s primary responsibilities include:

  • High level and varied executive support
  • Calendar and email management
  • Extensive minute taking
  • Support with board level papers and executive level presentations. 
  • Drafting reports and presentations on behalf of the COO and CFO
  • Expense management
  • Regular contribution to the company intranet
  • Board and committee liaison
  • Booking rooms, organising catering and dial in details for meetings
  • Assist the CFO with the register of shareholders
  • Social event and function organisation for Head Office
  • Organising travel and itineraries for the COO, CFO and Operations Departments
  • Approval of travel bookings for all staff
  • Reconcile the monthly travel invoices in a timely manner
  • General office and administration tasks
  • Cover and support for EA/PA as required

We are inviting interest from candidates who have at least five years experience working in a similar role, ideally in the Financial Services sector. To be successful in this role you will need to possess a high aptitude for organisation, communication and attention to detail. 

Additionally, you will need to:

  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and experience using SharePoint
  • Possess strong writing skills
  • Have initiative, confidence and an outstanding customer service approach and professional manner
  • Able to demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and sound judgement in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation
  • The ability to respond proactively and be flexible in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle competing priorities with strict deadlines
