We have a permanent opportunity for a Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance team working full time Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Based at our Head Office in Tauranga, CIP’s Compliance team is tasked with monitoring the business against NZX Rules, legislation and providing internal controls to mitigate risk. Compliance also focuses on education and building employee awareness of industry requirements and regulations.
The Compliance Assistant provides effective administrative support in the day to day running of the department. Some key tasks include the preparation of internal and external reporting, maintenance of compliance registers and databases and monitoring the firm’s activities against NZX Participant Rules, group policy and industry best practises.
The position requires two years previous audit or compliance experience working with a regulator. It is also essential to have strong organisational, administration and communication skills (both written and verbal) to succeed in this role.
