We have an opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team, working full time Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. Based either in our Auckland office or our Head Office in Tauranga.

CIPs Compliance team is tasked with monitoring the business against NZX Rules, legislation and providing internal controls to mitigate risk. Compliance also focuses on education and building employee awareness of industry requirements and regulations.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the primary purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the Head of Compliance and the Compliance Manager in the day to day functions of the Compliance department.  Some key tasks include maintaining compliance registers and databases, analysing client related activity, preparing documentation and monitoring the firm’s activities against NZX Participant Rules, group policy and industry best practices.

We are ideally seeking interest from candidates who are able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least three years’ audit, compliance or legal experience
  • AML/CFT knowledge and experience 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft product suite, including Excel 
  • A high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Being a self-starter with the ability to show initiative
  • Be curious and an inquisitive thinker who strives for continual process improvement
