About the role

Become part of a busy professional team whose goal it is to ensure that Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) employees have the correct systems to meet the business’s needs. Reporting to the Application Support Manager, you will be part of a team providing support and delivering change to 570+ users.

The key focus of this role is the delivery of enhancements and provision of second/third level support within a culture of continual improvement. The Business Systems Analyst will also be responsible for: 

  • Actively engaging key stakeholders to identify business change and user requirements
  • Provision of business analysis and process definition services through all stages of the project life cycle
  • Production of system and change specifications
  • Investigating and recommending suitable options and solutions for the business to consider
  • Tracking and managing system issues
  • Actively working with software vendors regarding the scope, timeline, and process for each release
  • Assisting and validating throughout the testing process and phases
  • Assisting the business through business process change. 

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary or equivalent professional IT qualification and must be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Be customer focused and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years’ system/business analysis experience, preferably in a related industry
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.

We expect you will have a strong customer service and team focus, with the ability to quickly come up to speed working with complex and highly integrated systems.
