Following an internal appointment, we have an opportunity for an Asset Services Assistant to join our Asset Services team within Operations. Reporting to the Asset Services Manager, the Administrator’s primary responsibility is to assist the Securities Database function to ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of data relating to listed and unlisted securities, including fixed interest instruments, and other financial products used by CIP clients.
Providing support to the Income Processing Administrator as well as back up to the other members of the small team will also be important, allowing for the opportunity to cross train and learn skills outside your role.
We are seeking interest from individuals that have administration experience. Preference will be given to applicants with a relevant qualification in finance, commerce or business or at least one year working in financial services. Great time management skills and an eye for detail are essential.
The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate the following:
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work in a small team and show initiative
· Fast learner with a can do attitude
This is a permanent role, with full time hours - Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm.
