About the role
A new opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our Asset Services team working in our Head Office, Tauranga. This is 12-month fixed term contract with full time hours of 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The Asset Services function is a key role within Craigs Investment Partners (CIP). It primarily serves the Custodial Services Limited function in maintaining events associated with the asset pool it has under management and facilitates the stockbroking function. It also has responsibilities to the wider business to ensure assets are set-up and maintained, and corporate action allotments occur.
The primary function of the Asset Services Administrator is to check all assets in CIP’s asset universe are set-up and maintained correctly, ensure corporate action allotments are reflected on portfolios as close to allotment date as possible, and complete pre- and post-hoc income processing checks. Plus, there is also a requirement to collate information related to corporate actions/class actions across global markets for possible actions requiring attention by the Corporate Actions team/Asset Services Manager.
Skills and Experience
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in successfully managing a database and/or has corporate actions experience and displays a high degree of accuracy with client information.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational, administrative and communication skills (both written and verbal). Also having an ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly and experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is essential.
